Welcome to our Website!
We'd like to welcome you to the Kuhl family website. It has been a long time in coming, but we are trying to move ourselves into the 21st century and take advantage of all that technology has to offer! This website enables all family members that can access the internet a chance to interact, share documents and photos and generally provide a link for everyone to connect through.
We will continue to work on adding documents and photos, so bear with us as the construction continues here. Check back often for updates.
KUHL REUNION:
The Annual Kuhl reunion was held Sunday, August 21st at the Gilmer Co. Recreational Center. We had 88 family members in attendance..up again slightly from last year. This is good news! With the expansion of the reunion to include all descendents of Henry Kuhl and his wives (Catherine Yeager and Elizabeth Skidmore) we hope that more branches of the family will be interested in joining us.
The reunion will be held Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the Gilmer Co. Recreational Center in Glenville, WV. Watch the website for the posting of the reunion flyer with more information.
I want to take this opportunity to thank several family members who have donated so much of their time and efforts to preserving the Kuhl history and legacy: Dave Kuhl of Ocean Springs, MS, Lila Powers of Safford, AZ and special thanks to Larry Kuhl of Richmond, VA for sharing the photos his parents had of Kuhl relatives and ancestors with me and Dave.
OLD PHOTOS AND DOCUMENTS: PRESERVING THE PAST FOR THE FUTURE
Any family member who has old photos or documents that they would like to share with other family members, please let us know. As many of you know, these old photos are fragile and in many cases there are no copies. What we aim to do is to ensure that there are copies of the Kuhl legacy spread out among different family members to guarantee that these precious items will always be available to future generations of Kuhl family members.
